About me

Hi, I’m a freelance editor working mostly in the short-form commercial world.

The best thing about my job is finding the shots and characters I immediately fall in love with…. and it happens all the time!! The “selects” process is funny. An explosion of opportunity, mixed with a relief that there are foundations to build on. As soon as I hear or see something special, I’m hooked, and then it’s a heady daze of structuring everything to share those gems in the most succinct and interesting way I can think of.

I love the scope of editing. While at the start it’s limitless, it’s through collaborating with my clients that we begin to hone the edit. It’s a privilege to work on well shot material about characters I care about, so working hand in hand with the Director to realise their ambition for their project is everything. 

I want to showcase the crew’s work the best I can. I want my part of the film making process to be a further opportunity for creative expression and originality, and as an editor, I need collaborators for that.
