Hi, I’m a freelance editor predominantly working in the short-form commercial world.

The best thing about my job is finding shots and characters I immediately fall in love with…. and it happens all the time!! The “selects” process is funny. An explosion of opportunity, mixed with relief there are foundations to build the edit on. As soon as I hear or see something special, I’m hooked, and then it’s a heady daze of structuring everything to share those gems in the most succinct and interesting way I can think of.

I love the scope of editing. While at the start it’s limitless, it’s through collaborating with my clients that we begin to hone the perfect edit. It’s a privilege to work on well shot material about characters I care about, so working hand in hand with the Director to realise their ambition for their project is everything. 

I want to showcase the crew’s work the best I can. I want my part of the film making process to be a further opportunity for creative expression and originality, and as an editor, I need collaborators for that.
